Renewing Policies
Overview
Commission Tracker tracks the entire lifecycle of a policy through the Policy Terms list. Each time a policy is renewed, a new term is created, allowing the system to store independent Payment History and data for every year of the policy's life.

💡 Best Practices
- ✅ Preserve History: Never overwrite dates on an existing term to "renew" it; always create a new term to preserve your historical commission data.
- ✅ Audit Ready: Use the independent terms feature to quickly answer client or agent questions about specific prior years of coverage.
