Status Bar
The Status Bar is located at the very bottom of the Commission Tracker screen and serves as a quick-reference guide for record history and session information.
π‘ Why Use This
The Status Bar lets you see at a glance who last modified a record and when, making it easy to track changes in multi-user environments without running a full audit report.
πΊοΈ How to Access
The Status Bar is always visible at the bottom of the Commission Tracker screen. No navigation is required.
Status Bar Fields

- Last Updated β When a record is loaded, shows the username of the last person to modify it. Reads Ready when no record-specific message applies.
- Update Timestamp β Shown alongside Last Updated, displays the date and time of that most recent modification.
- User Identity β Your current logged-in username, shown on the right side of the bar (e.g.
DE4). - System Clock β Shows the current date and time.
- Version Number β Displays the installed Commission Tracker version (e.g.
7.120.50.1293), useful to have on hand when contacting support.
Best Practices
- Quick audit β Before questioning a data change, check the Last Updated field to see which team member last edited the record.
- Multi-user environments β Use the timestamp to ensure you are not overwriting someone else's very recent changes.
π§ Troubleshooting
Support asked me which version I am running.
Read the version number at the far right of the Status Bar (for example 7.120.50.1293) and include it in your email to support.
The Last Updated name does not match what I expected. The Status Bar shows only the most recent change. To see every change made to a policy and who made it, open the policy and click Policy History. See Policy History.
