Mac Printing From The Cloud
If you are unable to print from your Mac when running a report in the cloud, you must configure your Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) to recognize your local hardware.
💡 Why Use This
By default, your local Mac printer is not visible inside the cloud environment. This configuration step bridges the connection so you can print Commission Tracker reports directly to your Mac printer without leaving the cloud session.
How to Configure
- Open RDC and go to Preferences.
- Select the Printers section.
- Check the box "Use a printer that is connected to Mac".
- Select "All Printers".

Refresh Your Session
After changing this setting, log out and log back into the Cloud to ensure your printers map correctly.
🔧 Troubleshooting
My printer still isn't showing up after following these steps. Log out of the cloud session completely and log back in. If the printer still does not appear, confirm the printer is working locally on your Mac before attempting to use it through the cloud.
I don't see the Printers section in RDC Preferences. Ensure you are using the Windows App (Microsoft Remote Desktop) from the Mac App Store. Older versions of the app may not include this option.
