Policy Search

The Policy Search tool allows you to quickly locate specific records using all or part of a policy number.

💡 Why Use This

Use Policy Search when you know the policy number or part of it and want to navigate directly to a policy without browsing through agent, carrier, or client folders.

🗺️ How to Access

Click the Find button on the Policy List screen to open the Policy Search tool.

Search Methods

  • Standard Search — Enter a partial policy number and click Find. The list displays all matching policies.
  • Exact Match Only — Check this box to require an exact policy number match. Significantly faster on large databases.

List Starts Blank

The results list remains empty until you enter search criteria and click Find.

🔧 Troubleshooting

No results are showing. Confirm you have clicked Find after entering your search term — the list does not update automatically. If using Exact Match Only, ensure the policy number is entered exactly as it appears in the system.

Search is slow. Enable Exact Match Only whenever you know the full policy number. This dramatically reduces search time on large databases.
