Agent Commission Split Table AutoFill automatically populates agent splits for new policies by copying the logic from the most similar existing policy in your database.

💡 Why Use This

AutoFill saves time when:

  • Adding many policies with the same split structure — The system copies the correct split table automatically instead of requiring manual entry for every new policy.
  • Standardizing splits across similar policies — Policies with the same Primary Agent, Carrier, Policy Type, and Carrier Table are likely to have the same split rules.
  • Reducing data entry errors — AutoFill pre-populates the fields so you only need to verify rather than enter from scratch.

🗺️ How to Access

AutoFill runs automatically when you save a new policy. You can enable or disable it in Tools → Options Menu by toggling the Disable Automatic Creation Of Agent Splits checkbox.

How It Works

When you save a new policy, the system compares the Primary Agent, Carrier, Policy Type, and Carrier Table against existing policies to find the closest match.

  • It copies the split table from the matching policy to the new policy.
  • It automatically adjusts the Split Date and Agent Name as needed.
  • It learns from any manual adjustments you make, improving future matches.

To disable AutoFill, go to Tools → Options Menu and check the Disable Automatic Creation Of Agent Splits checkbox. Uncheck it to re-enable.

🔧 Troubleshooting

AutoFill is populating incorrect splits on new policies. Manually correct the splits on the affected policy. This correction also improves the system's matching logic for future policies with the same characteristics.

AutoFill is not running when I save a new policy. Verify that the Disable Automatic Creation Of Agent Splits option in Tools → Options Menu is unchecked (the feature is enabled when the checkbox is unchecked).
