Can I undo something?

Made a mistake and want to undo your last step, or change something back to the way it was? There is no general Undo button in Commission Tracker. Some actions can be reversed, each from its own screen:

A whole imported or reconciled statement

  1. Select the carrier and click Manage Statements (newer versions: Statement History), or go to Import → Manage Import/Reconcile Sessions (newer versions: Import → Statement History).
  2. Select the statement and click Reverse.
  3. Click Yes to "Are You Sure You Want To Reverse This Import?". If a policy import session was created from that statement, the box offers Reverse Everything (also deletes that policy import session) or Just Statement.

Reversing Removes the Payments

Reversing a statement removes every payment that statement posted. To get them back, import or enter the statement again. See Reverse Import or Reconcile Session.

A deleted payment

  1. Open the policy and click Payments.
  2. Click Deleted Payments. The button is colored when the policy has deleted payments and grayed out when it has none.
  3. Select the payment and click Repost (or Edit And Repost, or Repost All).

See UnDelete (Repost) Payments.

A policy import

  1. Go to Import → Reverse Import Policy Session.
  2. Select the import and click Reverse, then click Yes.

This deletes the policies that import created. If payments were already received on those policies, the box says how many, and those payments are removed too. See Reverse Import Policy Session.

A Batch Edit

There is no undo for a Batch Edit. To put the old values back:

  1. Open a changed policy and click History. On the Timeline, the change shows the Source "Update Policies", and What Changed / Details lists each field as old value > new value.
  2. Run Batch Edit again on the same policies and set those fields back to the old values.

See Update All Policies.
